FORGED FROM EXPERIENCE
Founder Richard 'Rick' Young built the foundation of A-Tac Solutions during his nearly two-decade service in the United States Coast Guard. His perspective shifted after witnessing the aftermath of the New York Harbor attacks, reshaping his view of service life.
Rick's journey led him to accumulate over 20 years of security and operational expertise in the Coast Guard's Counter Drug and Counter Terrorism sectors. Rick's commitment to security remained steadfast despite retiring as a Senior Chief Maritime Enforcement Specialist. He leveraged his qualifications as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and Instructor to train U.S. Military and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies in Tactical Medicine and Firearms with Academi. He further expanded his portfolio by contributing to the San Diego Padres security team and taking on the role of Sr. Manager of Security and Safety for a multi-campus Church and School.
Rick attributes A-Tac's success to the caliber and values of its members, emphasizing that their collective strength and synergy are integral to the organization's achievements.
